Hello, welcome to browse our specialist air duct cleaning equipment and services.

OUR SOLUTIONS

COMMERICAL SOLUTIONS

The principle of HVAC air supply system for commercial offices and hotel rooms is basically the same, with fresh air supply for each floor and fan coil units for each individual office or hotel room. Fresh air duct runs above the false ceilings along the common corridor whereas individual office or hotel room are being served by fan coil units.Usually the common fresh air duct is larger in size, 500mm (W) x 250mm (H) or above and the air supply duct for individual office or hotel room would be 800mm (W) x 150mm (H).

Consequently, the recommended equipment for the cleaning of air ducts in these premises would be as follows:

  • Common Corridor

Use Chaoyoda “Standard Automatic Cleaning Robot” in conjunction with “i-Collect I” and by way of “Raised Dust Absorption Method”.

  • Individual Office or Hotel Room

Use Chaoyoda “i-Shaft Stage 1 or i-Shaft Stage 2” which would clear all dust accumulated on the air duct by way of “Direct Dust Absorption Method” and without the need to open additional access panels on the air duct.

RETAIL SOLUTIONS

Mega-sized shopping complexes or Hypermarkets tend to use central air supply system for the main tenant area and supplemented by fan coil units in localized areas. There would be a number of Pre-treated Air Handling Units (PAUs) and Air Handling Units (AHUs) on each floor. The size of the main air duct would usually start from 1,500mm (W) x 630mm (H) or above and gradually reduced to smaller dimensions such as 630mm (W) x 350mm (H) as branch air duct.Consequently, the recommended equipment for the cleaning of air ducts in these premises would be as follows:

  • Main Air Duct

Initially utilize the Chaoyoda “Standard Automatic or Large Scale Automatic Cleaning Robot” to loosen the dirt accumulated on the duct walls and then use the “Four-in-One Modular Type Dust Absorption Robot” to extract all dirt settled on the bottom of the air duct by way of “Direct Dust Absorption Method”.

  • Branch Air Duct

Use the Chaoyoda “Standard Automatic or Large Scale Automatic Cleaning Robot” in conjunction with the “i-Collect I ” by way of “Raised Dust Absorption Method” for good cleaning result.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS

Public transport stands for coach, double-decker bus, mini-bus, mass transit railway, train and various types of vessels. For ease of explanation, we shall use the case of double-decker bus air duct cleaning as an example.Air conditioning unit is usually mounted on the roof or adjacent to the engine compartment. Air duct would be running parallel on both sides of the ceiling or as one main central air duct so that treated air would be delivered effectively to all corners of the bus.

These ducts are smallish in size and flat in shape and perpendicular bends are not uncommon and is usually not accessible by ordinary robots.
Based on many years practical double-decker bus air duct cleaning experience, ChaoyodaFlexible Shaft Air Duct Cleaning Machine or i-Blade / Whip (2-in-1) would be the most effective means to tackle the situation with the following unique features:

  • Both can access air ducts with a section of 100mm (W) x 100mm (H) or a diameter of 50mm with ease.
  • Both are soft and flexible and hence can travel in air ducts even with perpendicular bends.
  • Both can use “Direct Dust Suction Method” to extract dirt in air duct which would avoid the use of space required in the “Raised Dust Absorption Method”.
  • Not required to make any new opening on ceiling panel.

INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS

This section addresses the issues of air duct cleaning for the industrial sector. It includes standard, electronic, food processing, flour mills, pharmaceutical and textile factories, among many others. In view of the varieties of the industries, we will try to explain the different handling methods in the following orders:

  • Standard Factories

This would cover machine workshop, garments, equipment assembly, general assembly line, etc. The HVAC system in these premises would be in essence the same as those used in Mega-sized shopping complexes or Hypermarkets. Please see here for the cleaning method.

  • Textile and Chemical Fibre Factory

You can visualize how it is like when you walk into a textile and chemical fibre factory.no matter how clean the premises are being kept, minute fragments of cotton and chemical fibre will be flying here and there. Regular cleaning equipment such as brushes or flexible shaft will be paralyzed by these minute fragments and rendered useless. The only way to clean these would be to use the i-Blade /
Whip (2-in-1) or Modular Type Pulse Air Hammer and Air Whip Robot in conjunction with i-Collect I .

  • Electronics Factories

Ductings in these premises is similar to that of a standard factory but the cleaning method is entirely different. A lot of soldering takes place in an electronics factory. Rosin flux is a chemical used to facilitate soldering. During the process of soldering, part of the rosin flux will be vaporized and condensate on the interior of the air duct.

Rosin is flammable and if accumulated excessively which would pose a safety hazard. In the past, owner of the factory would arrange these ductings to be dismantled and cleaned/replaced on a periodic basis. This is both time consuming and costly.

Look how Chaoyoda solved the problem in a smart way: Use the Modular Type Video Sampling and Shoveling Robotto loosen the rosin precipitated on the interior floor of the air duct, subsequently use the Modular Type Dust Absorption Robot to extract all the loosened rosin.

Use the Standard Automatic Cleaning Robot or Large Scale Cleaning Robot to loosen the rosin attached on the interior surfaces of the air duct, subsequently use the Modular Type Dust Absorption Robot to extract all the loosened rosin.

  • Food Processing / Flour Mills / Pharmaceutical Factories

These industries have rigid requirements for indoor air quality and hence high efficiency filters are almost always a standard provision in these premises. As a result of this, there would be less dust accumulated in the air duct but they would impose stricter requirements on the level of cleanliness.

Further, it is common (at least in China) for them to have raw materials transferred within the premises through pipes, and these pipes will need to be cleaned after each conveyancing.

For air ducts use Modular Type Pulse Air Hammer and Air Whip Robot in conjunction with i-Collect I by way of “Raised Dust Absorption Method”.
